Brenda Williams
"The First Lady of Teas"
BRENDA
WILLIAMS was born and raised in England and moved to
Canada in 1966 and then to the United States (Denver,
Colorado) in 1980. Three years later, I opened a tearoom in
Metro Denver. During my time in Colorado I was on the board of
the Colorado Food Association which was overseen by the
Colorado Department of Agriculture. I also taught English
Afternoon Tea classes for the Denver Free University. In 1989
I began manufacturing my own scone mix, preserves, lemon curd
mix and stuffing mixes. These products were sold throughout
the United States.
I sold my
Denver tearoom in 1996 and relocated to Surprise,
Arizona,
in 1999 supposedly to retire!
In the
year 2000 I started Brenda’s English Afternoon Teas and served
English Afternoon Teas in people’s homes. I also offered gift
baskets of distinction and gourmet products for sale and I
also started a website.
I
now offer Afternoon Tea packages which can be delivered for a
fee or one can pick up from my home. This venture is proving
very successful. My NEW company name is; Brenda’s
International Foods and Gift Baskets and I offer gourmet
foods, petit fours, Devonshire cream, sauces, chocolates and
many other products together with the same great service.
