Increase
your child's opportunities for success!

The Challenge
Children are not developing their
imaginations anymore because they don’t have to use them for
anything. Everything is presented to them in a
“no-imagination-necessary” form through the media, through toys and
even through many of the activities in which they partake. If they
cannot imagine, they are at a distinct disadvantage for being about
to create their own reality by conceiving, believing and achieving.
Are you tired
of hearing “I’m bored.”?
Find out how to banish boredom
while helping children develop self-esteem, self-reliance and
self-confidence, without spending a fortune or dedicating every
waking moment to children’s needs and wants. Boredom should never be
a part of childhood. Children are born to be inquisitive, excited,
and filled with wonder.
Do You Need a
Plan that Works?
Through the simple sequence of
Imagining, Envisioning, and Creating, parents receive tools to help
children rediscover their natural curiosity and sense of wonder.
They are given opportunities and experiences that allow their
imaginations to develop. In the envision phase, children acquire
skills that will enable them to create and also give them belief in
their ability to do so. Creativity then happens in phases. It comes
through varied experiences, experimentation and repetition; and is
mastered one small achievement at a time, with real-life lessons and
the support of family. Creating what they imagine, starts with small
things. Built on a strong foundation, this process prepares children
to become happy, successful and fully functioning adults who are
excited about life and able to turn their dreams into reality on
many different levels.
The
Imagine, Envision, Create
seminar includes activities that have worked successfully with
children of all ages and interests. It is based on
Mother Lode, the presenter’s
book, which has more than 5,000 ideas for toddlers through teens.
The activities use simple, readily available materials, which
require imagination to make them work. They can be done without
purchasing expensive toys or electronics and most don’t take a great
deal of parental time—just enough to get them started, give children
some special attention and supervise for safety.
Parenting with Results
If you incorporate the ideas
presented you can expect to have some fun with your family. Laughter
is encouraged. You might even discover that your own creativity
begins to flourish. And, as you watch your child or children realize
that they are capable of doing and understanding many things, you
can expect to feel proud of their accomplishments and their
struggles along the way. The relationships you develop by spending
time together working toward goals will be priceless, giving you
memories to treasure. With life skills learned and self-confidence
built, your child will be better prepared to make his or her dreams
become reality.
